Injustice abounds in the Syro Malabar Synod: Tension escalates, and division worsens.

The staggering piece of information of injustice in the Syro Malabar Synod is discovered. Synod loses it's integrity.

Syro Malabar Synod consists of 63 bishops. It has 31 bishops- for Kerala where 88 % of the Syro Malabar Christians live. 32 Bishops for the dioceses outside Kerala and India, where only 12 % of Syro Malabar Christians live.

41 % of bishops ( 25 bishops) represent 12 % of faithful living outside of Kerala. 6 bishops represent a minute percentage of Syro Malabar faithful living outside of India.

The tragedy is that the Synod's decision regarding the Holy Mass facing the Altar is unilateral. The brute majority in the synod deliberately disregarded the demand of the majority of the faithful for the Holy Mass facing people

The fallacy behind the decision-making process in the Synod is a blatant cheating. Many bishops deliberately involved in the act of manipulation to win the game. It is a deceit due to corrupted moral standards. Many bishops in the Synod underestimated the goodwill of the faithful. Thus ordinary faithful began to react as the truth comes out.

Moral damage to Pope Francis and Roman authorities: They have been dragged into this moral mess. Their names, especially the Holy name of Pope Francis, are entangled with the Synod's decisions, which is a contradiction. The exhortation of Pope Francis is conjured up as indult. It was a calculated move from an esteemed office of a Major Archbishop, and it is tantamount to a moral crime committed.

The overriding attitude against the dissenting voices in the process of deliberations is another token of the synod's unbridled power and authority. Thus Syro Malabar Synod has turned as a flawed system, that is used as a weapon to attack a vast strata of faithful who are advocating spiritual renewal in the Church.

32 bishops and the Oriental Chaldean group in the Syro Malabar Synod conspired to vote for Holy Mass facing the Altar against the wish of the larger number of faithful. In preparation for this objective, Major Archbishop established many dioceses outside of Kerala and India rather a short period of time and selected a group of bishops during his tenure in order to achieve a brute majority in the Syro Malabar Synod. The purpose of these dubious acts are none other than to impose his liturgical ideology. Thus under the leadership of Major Archbishop, a group of bishops created unwanted tension and irreparable damages in the Church.

Injustice abounded in the selection process of bishops: The secret selection process of bishops eventually helped to get a brute majority of votes in the synod. 32 % of the bishops (20 bishops) represent 12 % of the Syro Malabar faithful. The rule by this brute majority paved the way for the tyranny of the bishops who mercilessly persecute pious Syro Malabar faithful.

People seek extraordinary ways of protests when they are confronted with gross injustice and blatant cheating. It is the feeling of the majority of faithful of Syro Malabar Church as they are cognizant of the conspiracy of Syro Malabar Synod and its decision to impose uniformity in Liturgy. The decision to impose uniformity in Liturgy in the Syro Malabar Church is only the tip of the iceberg of systemic injustice, cunningly maneuvered for a while in the Syro Malabar Church. It has been achieved by hook and crook. Fortunately, the enlightened faithful of the Syro Malabar Church is smart enough to pinpoint what is wrong and dare enough to expose the skeleton from the cupboard of bishop's caucus.

1. The injustice has taken many forms, accompanied by dirty deeds. Learn from the appointment of the bishops. Since 1996, after the death of Abraham Kattumana, most of the bishops were selected by the influence of the Chaldean interest group of Syro Malabar Church and cunningly handpicked candidates to episcopate with vested interests. Thus the Chaldean interest group manipulated the selection process of bishops to get the majority in the Syro Malabar Synod.

More than 500 priests flocked before the headquarters of Syro Malabar Church. Major Archbishop hid behind the doors. Gund-as ( scoundrel) blocked the gate.

2. Major Archbishop has wallowed in corruption. The head of the Syro Malabar Church is facing more than 16 criminal and civil cases in Indian courts, and his plea to quash a batch of cases in the court was rejected by High Court judge recently. It is a perfect example of his corrupted administration and immoral activities.

3. The decision of Syro Malabar Synod regarding the uniformity in the celebration of the Eucharist is a hidden agenda to aggrandize the power over the faithful of a certain dioceses of the Syro Malabar Church.

4. The protest of Clergy and laity against the Synod’s decision is the need of the time because the injustice perpetrated by the Synod is dangerously alarming. The people of faith, their integrity and decency will not permit the corrupted process of decision-making of the Synod. The Synod was not ready to listen to the voice of the larger number of the faithful during the decision making process of the Synod, and instead, Synod unilaterally imposed it upon them.

Nero fiddles while Rome burns... Major Archbishop stays in the closed doors. Not even ready to meet for dialogue or discussion. His gundas blocked the gate of his cozy palace.

5. The major Archbishop is hiding in the darkness. Around 500 clergy assembled to hand over the petition to Major Archbishop demanding to continue the Holy Mass facing people. Instead of meeting them peacefully as they are his co-servants in the priestly mystery, Major Archbishop has played the role of a coward and hid in the cozy palace. He resorted to the help of gundas of his group to block the gates of Mount St.Thomas where he is residing. The priests were denied the entry into the Headquarters. The law and order of the state took control of the situation. "The decision of the Synod created restlessness in the Church and law and order of the state is at stake" Intelligence agency reports.
